★★★★"Fun and not too frustrating. The hints pointed me in the right direction without spoon-feeding me. I'm impressed with this format."

Amanda Beza-Lee

★★★★"Lots of fun to do with a friend, definitely something different. A lot of thought had clearly gone into the puzzles, and the hints were helpful at times. Some h[...](#)ints seemed to be a bit misleading, for example at the end when it said we needed a clue from every room, but we needed 5 letters and there were only 4 rooms - that threw us a bit. It was also frustrating having to click through multiple options to get back into some areas e.g. the entertainment drawer."

Georgia Reading

★★★★"Liked playing detective on a bent CEO, felt the part poking through his inbox. We did reach the end, though a couple of the steps near the safe felt more like g[...](#)uesswork than logic and we weren't sure how we'd solved them. Decent night regardless."

Jakub Wiśniewski

From our archive

★★★★★"Did this as our intermediate one after a beginner room and it was pitched just right, the ship theme kept us guessing as we moved between the cabins. i thought [...](#)it was clever how it all linked together. Took a fair bit of teamwork over Zoom."

Milena Stojanović

From our archive

★★★★★"Billed as intermediate and for us that landed dead on, a fair few of the riddles left us stumped a good while, the empty playhouse after a flop is a fun setup a[...](#)nd the dig at the critics tearing it apart gave us a giggle, we'd gladly take on another, the only niggle was the constant page-flipping which wore a bit thin though you settle into it."

Rabia Nawaz

From our archive

★★★★★"Good fun but took us a lot longer than we thought it would!"

Linh Nguyen

From our archive

★★★★★"Good fun for the work do, bit short though."

Yuki Sato

From our archive

★★★★★"Rounded up the mates for a night in over video and went with this. The after-hours office raid had everyone chiming in, though my husband was zero use and just [...](#)lobbed random numbers at every lock. Cracking laugh in spite of him."

Lois Hartshorn

From our archive

★★★★★"Really enjoyed piecing together what happened to the four of them, properly gets you thinking. Only gripe is all the clicking back and forward, a little home pa[...](#)ge would have saved a lot of faff"

Tomasz Wójcik

From our archive

★★★★★"Just escaped with everyone cheering, Dave was great when we got stuck."

Vanessa Lyle

From our archive

★★★★★"Smashing night, Tim walked us through getting everyone online. dont overthink it."

Doreen Marlow

From our archive

★★★★★"the wife and i played this with her parents who live up in Aberdeen, all of us on Teams. Trying to break out of the rental past that nosy host was the perfect t[...](#)hing to do together when we can't get up there often. Really good."

Iwan Llewellyn

From our archive

★★★★★"Did this as a virtual team social. Came in around the two hour mark and we only reached for a single clue the whole way, which we were dead chuffed with. Genuin[...](#)ely good fun and pitched just right for a mixed bunch."

Omar Najjar

From our archive

★★★★★"Genuinely good fun and harder than it looks, the Advanced rating is well earned. Kept the whole group on our toes the whole way through, will be giving another [...](#)a go soon."

Grace Mensah

From our archive

★★★★★"Loved it, such good fun."

Reuben Castleton

From our archive

★★★★★"Great fun, though a home button would save all the clicking about."

Eilidh Fraser

From our archive

★★★★★"Got the four of us together on a Friday night for this and blimey, it's a hard one. The whole damaged station with the air running down really keeps you moving.[...](#) We were at it the guts of two hours and a bit, and only just got the airlock open at the death, with half the group ready to throw the towel in. Brilliant though, felt like we'd actually earned it."

Vikram Kapoor

From our archive

★★★★★"Great laugh. Would do again."

Fraser Lockhart

From our archive

★★★★★"Had a right laugh with this one."

Bushra Latif

From our archive

★★★★"Enjoyable, Dave was quick to help, bit pricey for what it is."

Claire Donovan

From our archive

★★★★★"Brilliant evening and great value for what you get. The four vanishings had us all hooked and we'll definitely be picking another room soon."

Bethan Probert

From our archive

★★★★★"Picked this as it's rated Advanced and i wanted something my puzzle-mad brother couldn't breeze through, and it gave us a proper run for our money. Brilliant."

Finlay Ramsbottom

From our archive

★★★★★"Booked it for mum's birthday and the family had a ball. Being the Advanced tier, a couple of the campsite riddles really tested us and one wristband clue nearly[...](#) broke me. Dave answered my email within the hour, ever so patient."

Sunita Kaur

From our archive

★★★★★"Pulled a load of us onto a Google Meet from our various houses for a midweek thing and it was a proper hit. Working out where those four had got to kept everybo[...](#)dy guessing and the whole call dissolved into people shouting over one another with their pet theories. My one little niggle is the navigation, you click forward and back so much that I kept forgetting which page a clue lived on and a home button would have helped no end, but that's a small thing. We're booking another for certain, maybe a step trickier now we know what we're in for"

Ellie Fairweather

From our archive

★★★★★"Cracking fun. Will be doing another."

Sylvia Mottram

From our archive

★★★★★"Nice and relaxed with nothing forcing the pace, we just chipped away at it over the evening. Dropped Dave a line when we got stuck and he came back fast. Thorou[...](#)ghly enjoyed it."

Winston Roberts

From our archive

★★★★"Six of us dialled in on a Sunday afternoon to wake up stranded on this empty cruise liner and find a way back ashore, which is a setup that hooked the lot of us[...](#). Pitched as intermediate and it earned that, a few of the deck puzzles definately made us work for it. One snag: the website makes you hunt for screens you've already opened, scrolling about until you land on the right one, and that wore a bit thin. Whoever handled my booking question by email beforehand was patient and clear. Reached a lifeboat in the end, smashing way to catch up."

Astrid Holm

From our archive

★★★★★"We just about escaped the theatre in the end, with two of us convinced we'd never crack the last code. The whole no cast, no crew set up is a clever idea. Thoro[...](#)ughly enjoyed it."

Shazia Parveen

From our archive

★★★★★"Set this up as a remote thing for my book group, all five of us scattered about and dialling in on Google Meet. Setup was painless once we'd shared the link rou[...](#)nd. We worked through the boss's desk drawers and his dodgy expense files for a fair while, the better side of two hours by my reckoning, and not one of us flagged. Dave answered a daft question I had before we kicked off, really patient about it. Already plotting which one we tackle next month."

Pablo Herrera

From our archive

★★★★"Played with the kids one rainy afternoon, all of us on the laptop together rather than spread out which worked fine. The school break-out idea went down well an[...](#)d the register puzzle had them giggling. Fair for the price but I'd hoped for one or two more puzzles for the money."

Faith Njoroge

From our archive

★★★★"Did it for a leaving do, brief but didnt drag."

Tijana Babić

From our archive

★★★★★"Enjoyed wandering round the empty auditorium and the terrible reviews gag landed well with our lot. Only gripe is one puzzle felt a bit of a leap. The people be[...](#)hind it were dead helpful when we messaged though."

Walter Carrington

From our archive

★★★★★"Escaped in just under two hours which we were chuffed with. We only caved and used a hint once, on the bit about the third disappearance that had us completely [...](#)baffled. Genuinely eerie in places, a couple of the puzzles gave us a proper jolt."

Chloe Barrett

From our archive

★★★★★"Played this over Teams with my brother in Leeds, great laugh."

David Osei

From our archive

★★★★★"great fun with my old form group, Dave sorted our login fast"

Olu Bamidele

From our archive

★★★★★"Hardest of the bunch and a right laugh."

Andre Walters

From our archive

★★★★★"Lovely way to see off the term with a few of us and it did the trick. My one moan is the to-and-fro between screens, an overview you could jump from would've sp[...](#)ared a lot of hunting."

Levi Donaldson

From our archive

★★★★★"End of term treat for the department and well under a tenner between us, bargain."

Anjali Reddy

From our archive

★★★★"Good fun for our work social, bit fiddly in places though."

Brian Holloway

From our archive

★★★★★"Did this with the lads of a Friday over a video call and we had a smashing time stranded in that playhouse. We dawdled through it since nothing counts down the [...](#)minutes, which suited us as we kept breaking off for a yarn. We tapped the clue page on the wings section and didnt feel daft about it. My one moan is the navigation, you're endlessly tapping back or forward and it's easy to lose your spot. Dave pinged a reply straight back when I wrote in though, no faulting that. Loved the swipe at the critics panning the show."

Ravinder Bhatti

From our archive

★★★★★"We did this for a work do, all of us joining from home, and it was a belting way to break up the week. Good fun once you've got the knack of paging back and for[...](#)th."

Priti Varma

From our archive

★★★★★"Did this for a friend's send-off before he emigrates, the whole crew dialling in on Zoom from all corners of the country. Slipping past the twitchy host and out[...](#) of the rental gave us heaps to bicker about and made for a cracking farewell"

Usman Ghani

From our archive

★★★★★"Great laugh, the team replied to my email so quickly i was amazed."

Sukhdeep Dhaliwal

From our archive

★★★★★"Well worth the money for six of us, that's a whole evening sorted for buttons."

Abena Owusu

From our archive

★★★★★"Good fun, just wish it was a little longer, the team were lovely"

Amrit Sahota

From our archive

★★★★★"Put this on for a mate who was leaving the firm, the lot of us on a call from home with drinks in hand. Smashing night and it kept the whole group properly occu[...](#)pied. We'll be doing another."

Jermaine Phillips

From our archive

★★★★★"Took us a fair bit longer than we expected, the puzzles in the CEO's office really had us stumped for ages. Loved digging through the desks for the evidence tho[...](#)ugh, my mate cracked the last code while the rest of us argued."

Lucía Morales

From our archive

★★★★★"Spent a quiet Sunday afternoon on this with my partner. Nothing rushing you along on the broken station, which suited us, so we took breaks and still wrapped up[...](#) around the two hour mark. Emailed Dave a daft question and he was really patient about it."

Emeka Nwosu

From our archive

★★★★★"Clocked in at nearly two hours which threw me for a beginner one, our staffroom night. The break-into-the-staffroom-safe stretch dragged a touch but the school [...](#)setting won me over and I was glad we saw it through."

Tyrone Marshall

From our archive

★★★★"Good laugh for a teacher night in, bit on the easy side for us"

Rohan Saxena

From our archive

★★★★★"Did this with my sister and her fella and had a smashing time stitching together what the boss had been hiding. We got there in the end, mind, though the bit wi[...](#)th the locked filing cabinet near the close struck us as a bit harsh and we'd swear we'd entered it right. Fired off a message about it and got a friendly reply pretty sharpish, no fuss at all. Happy to book another sometime."

Aleksandra Pawlak

From our archive

★★★★★"Needed a hint or two but Dave was spot on, lovely guy. Great fun."

Marek Adamczyk

From our archive

★★★★"Decent fun but a couple of puzzles dragged a bit."

Tahir Mirza

From our archive

★★★★★"Tougher than we expected but a brilliant laugh."

Lucy Anne Pemberton

From our archive

★★★★★"really enjoyed this one, kept the whole group hooked."

Wei Chen

From our archive

★★★★★"Used this in place of the usual Christmas meal at work and it landed far better than anyone expected. Flicking between the pages to find a clue you'd already pa[...](#)ssed got slightly fiddly, but the whole break-into-the-boss's-office-and-delete-the-email plot was a winner and the lot of us mucked in."

Lerato Mokoena

From our archive

★★★★★"We didnt expect it to be quite so tricky, it's rated Advanced and they're not joking, but we loved every minute trying to get back into that tent before the ban[...](#)d came on. Such a clever idea and a great way to spend an evening together."

Priya Anjali Sharma

From our archive

★★★★"Good fun though one or two locks felt a real reach."

Joan Fairclough

From our archive

★★★★★"Really enjoyed solving our way round the ship deck by deck. The only faff was clicking back and forth between the pages a lot, a home screen would have helped. [...](#)We just about escaped back to dry land with my partner cracking the last code, brilliant night."

Vlad Munteanu

From our archive

★★★★★"So good, had us hooked the whole way through."

Maya Choudhury

From our archive

★★★★★"Such a good idea, we'll be doing the rest of them"

Padraig Nolan

From our archive

★★★★"Good laugh but a bit pricier feeling than we expected."

Tarek Boulos

From our archive

★★★★★"Did this with my two teenagers and we just about scraped through to the end, all of us yelling answers at the screen. The kids were better at it than me which t[...](#)hey won't let me forget. Really good fun for a family stuck in on a cold one."

Rosa Hartnell

From our archive

★★★★★"Brilliant fun, booking another for next month."

Aaron Doyle

From our archive

★★★★★"Played this with the lads over a games night. Some of the wiring puzzles on the dead station had us totally stumped and we ended up peeking at the hints page tw[...](#)ice, but getting the power humming again felt class"

Suresh Iyer

From our archive

★★★★★"Played this on my own one rainy Sunday and got right into it. With nothing ticking away in the corner I could take my time poking through the dodgy CEO's emails[...](#) with a brew on the go. Smashing afternoon."

Daisy Trevelyan

From our archive

★★★★"The creepy missing persons story is great and not having a timer meant we could really take our time mulling it over. Did find myself wishing there was a proper[...](#) menu though, you end up clicking next and back a fair bit to check things you've already seen."

Freya Mortimer

From our archive

★★★★★"good value for a group of us, shame it wasn't a touch longer"

Felicity Marwood

From our archive

★★★★★"loved every minute, Tim was a gem when i got stuck, booking the next room"

Owen Tregaskis

From our archive

★★★★★"Our second crack at one of these and it held up nicely. We had the whole clan on Google Meet for my nan's do and the abandoned playhouse really fit the mood. It[...](#) ran us close to two hours with everybody chipping in at once, but not a word of complaint. The one snag is you're forever jumping between pages and I mislaid my spot a time or two. Dave fired back an answer to my daft question in no time as well, full marks for that."

Yasmin Choudhry

From our archive

★★★★★"Brilliant value for the group. Dave sorted my query by email."

Femi Adebayo

From our archive

★★★★★"Spooky and clever, loved it."

Tilly Redfern

From our archive

★★★★"Good fun, though one puzzle leaned on a leap of logic that grated."

Efua Acheampong

From our archive

★★★★★"Good but harder than we expected. Got there eventually."

Connor Mahoney

From our archive

★★★★★"Really good fun, we just about managed to escape before calling it a night. The whole locked-in-the-rental idea worked a treat."

Adnan Rashid

From our archive

★★★★★"Picked this for a Friday in and it was just the ticket. With no clock running we could pause for snacks whenever. Dave answered a daft question before we kicked[...](#) off. Rummaging round the host's rental for an exit had us all in stitches."

Mhairi Sutherland

From our archive

★★★★"We gave this a go as a group and it really is a brain melter. Ended up needing three hints to get unstuck on the gravity bit, which felt like a lot, but we did [...](#)finish. Genuinely tricky in places."

Selina Quartey

From our archive

★★★★★"Did this on Google Meet with my cousins, all of us in different cities. We needed a couple of hints to get moving on the power puzzles but that's on us for over[...](#)thinking. Tim answered my setup question really quickly beforehand which was great."

Denise Thompson

From our archive

★★★★★"Good fun though it nearly broke us, a fair bit harder than expected."

Chioma Eze

From our archive

★★★★★"Clocked in at roughly an hour and fifty by the time we hit the gangplank, with one peek at the clue page for the radio room. The notion of waking up as the last[...](#) souls aboard a liner really grabbed us and it ramped up well deck by deck. Four of us were shouting numbers over the top of one another at the cabin safes. Reached the lifeboats and felt dead pleased. Cannot fault it as a way to see mates who've all moved away."

Bogdan Lupu

From our archive

★★★★"Played this with a couple of mates over Teams and the abandoned cruise ship had a properly eerie feel as we crept the gangways. We leaned on the clue page twice[...](#) for the lifeboat puzzle. Felt a shade dear for the length."

Bruno Costa

From our archive

★★★★★"Did it with the children over a couple of nights, took maybe two hours all told. They've already asked to do another one which says it all."

Pearl Hosannah

From our archive

★★★★"Booked it for my husband's birthday, a few of us joining from our own homes. The eerie tale of the four who went missing kept everyone gripped for the guts of t[...](#)wo hours. We stalled midway and dropped a message, Tim replied fast and was very patient. Shame one puzzle stayed murky even after his nudge, but a lovely night."

Elena Popescu

From our archive

★★★★★"Hardest one yet. Loved it."

Yaw Antwi

From our archive

★★★★★"honestly great value for the whole group, i'd happily pay more."

Anita Desai

From our archive

★★★★"Decent puzzles but wished it ran a bit longer."

Karolina Lewandowska

From our archive

★★★★★"Fun but the constant clicking back got annoying"

Layla Hadid

From our archive

★★★★★"Brilliant fun for our work do."

Rania Haddad

From our archive

★★★★"Five of us ran this as a December team thing on Meet right before we clocked off for the holidays. The idea of having to delete the email you'd fired at your bo[...](#)ss is properly funny and far too close to home. We tapped the clues page early on to find our feet, and I'd warn you the difficulty jumps without much of a run-up, with one puzzle asking for a leap I never spotted the logic behind. Even so the whole crew loved it and there was loads of shouting at the screen. Good shout for a work lot, just brace yourself for a tough one."

Arun Subramaniam

From our archive

★★★★★"Teacher mates loved it, just wish it didnt make you click next quite so much"

Patrick Mutua

From our archive

★★★★★"Picked this one as the starter because the kids are 8 and 11 and they were buzzing the whole way through. The whole being-locked-in-the-school-after-a-reunion t[...](#)hing really tickled my eldest, she kept saying that's not allowed! Dave answered my daft email about getting started really quickly which was kind. We dont normally agree on anything as a family but we all got stuck into the locker bit together. We will absolutely be doing another, maybe a slightly harder one now they've got the hang of it. Thank you!"

Folake Ogunleye

From our archive

★★★★★"Great laugh, the whole gang loved it."

Joseph Edward Stainton

From our archive

★★★★"Our work Christmas catch-up runs on Meet now and this fit the bill. It went a touch over two hours, with a fair bit of darting between screens that wore thin. T[...](#)he plot of scrubbing that email before the boss saw it was great. Dave came back fast when a code didnt seem to land."

Nisha Pandya

From our archive

★★★★★"Played this early December once the little ones were in bed. We did get out clutching the evidence which felt brilliant, and Tim came back fast when I asked how[...](#) to get everyone onto the call. Definitely doing another in the new year."

Eszter Tóth

From our archive

★★★★"Bit pricey for one room. Dave was sound though."

★★★★★"Spent a Saturday night on this with my cousins, three different houses on Zoom. The whole idea of being trapped in this ShareBnb by a host who's watching your e[...](#)very move was brilliant and definately kept us hooked. Only gripe is you click back and forward a fair bit and I'd have liked a home page to jump around from. For the price though I can't really complain, worked out at next to nothing each. Outsmarting the paranoid host at the end felt great."

★★★★"Gave this a go on a Friday with my old work lot, everyone dialling in from various corners of the country and it ran fine once we'd worked out whose screen we w[...](#)ere all watching. The marooned liner premise was a winner and we enjoyed inching our way through the decks. My gripe would be the sheer amount of pressing back then next, a proper menu to hop about from would save a load of bother. Past that we had a belting evening and we're itching to try one of the tougher rooms. Grand to have a thing we can all do together from miles apart."

★★★★★"Played this for my niece's 18th with the family spread across the country on a Meet call. Dave sorted out a small issue with our link the day before, really hel[...](#)pful and quick to reply. The hunt to find all your festival stuff and get back in the tent kept us all entertained."

Pauline Marsh

★★★★★"Sorted this for my dad's 60th as he loves a bit of intrigue, and the whole catching out a corrupt CEO angle was right up his street. He was completely in his el[...](#)ement rifling through the virtual desks. Lovely way to mark the day."

Nikola Jovanović

★★★★"Booked it as a change for date night and it came in cheap, comfortably under a tenner for two. Mind you it ate up a good two hours of our evening, and we tapped[...](#) the hints page a fair few times when the wall safe in the boss's office had us stumped. Dave was good about a query I sent the day before. Knocked a star off as a few of the clues felt finicky rather than smart, but we still had a pleasant night"

★★★★"Booked this for my dad's birthday and got the wider family on a call for it, ages ranging from teens to nearly seventy. The fact nothing's ticking away on the d[...](#)amaged station really helped because we are not a fast bunch and we could potter through at our own speed, with the oxygen meter the only nudge. It is hard though, definitely their toughest, and a few of the older lot drifted off near the end. Dave was a gem when I dropped him a note about sorting access for the whole crew. Knocked a star off only because a couple of the puzzles assumed you'd spotted something tiny in an image."

Vernon Brooks

From our archive

★★★★★"Did this with a few mates and it was an absolute steal for the price split between us. The missing persons story is properly atmospheric and we were all chuckin[...](#)g out theories about what had happened. We'll be doing another for sure. Only thing I'd change is the navigation, you do a lot of clicking back and next to find a clue you've already passed and a little home page would make life easier. Minor moan on what was a cracking night though."

Ruairi Donnelly

★★★★"Did this one with my brother and his housemates. The oxygen running out gives it a bit of a push even though there's no actual timer, and it took us closer to t[...](#)wo hours. Bit pricey felt right for what it was, just wish a couple of the airlock puzzles had a clearer hint."

Manjit Bains

★★★★"Wanted something the children could actually do and this fit the bill, the getting locked in school story had my son fully invested. We were all huddled round o[...](#)ne screen rather than dialling in from different houses which suited us. Reasonable price for an afternoon. Did find a couple of the answer boxes a bit picky which led to some frustrated faces, but we got there. Nice gentle starter."

Precious Adeyinka

From our archive

★★★★★"Booked this as a surprise for my husband and his old rugby lot who are flung all over the place these days. Came out daft cheap once you carved it up between th[...](#)em, near enough a quid a head. They spent a good while prowling the liner and bickering over the deck codes, and every last one said theyd do another. I didnt join in myself but the din coming through the wall told me plenty. Grand to hear that lot in stitches together again."

Eleanor Maeve Prescott

★★★★★"Got a group of mates together on a video call for this, everyone in their own kitchen dotted about the place. Genuinely the hardest thing we've attempted, that [...](#)broken station with the air supply dwindling kept us on edge the whole way through. Nobody guiding you through it, which we actually preferred, so we rolled our sleeves up and worked it out between us over the course of an evening, well past the two hour mark. My one niggle was the clues being split across different pages, so you're forever hopping between tabs to find what you'd already worked out. Cracking puzzle though, another one's already booked."

Kojo Darko

★★★★★"Booked this for my sister's hen do as a daytime thing before the evening out. The whole sneaking round the office gathering evidence had us all in fits, and we [...](#)only needed one hint to crack the boss's safe. Went down a treat with the group."

We must have[...](#) spent the guts of two hours creeping round that darkened office after hours, piecing together what the boss was hiding, with everyone shouting out at once whenever a drawer gave up a clue. Hamza Younis

It's decent value, just shy of a tenner between all of us, though I did think it was a smidge on the short side for the money and we'd have happily kept going. The bit where you piece together what happened the night before was clever. We'd do another."

Susan Hartley

From our archive

★★★★★"Played this over Christmas with my mum, dad and sister and we never quite finished, the bit where you have to get past the boss's locked office door had the fou[...](#)r of us bickering over the code for a solid twenty minutes. Smashing way to pass a festive evening even so."

Tendai Moyo

Tunde Okeke

★★★★★"The amnesia-at-a-festival premise really pulls you in, we were determined to find everything before the headline act. It's rated Advanced so don't expect a walk[...](#) in the park, took a fair bit of head scratching but so satisfying when it clicks."

Niamh Brennan

From our archive

★★★★"We did this for my husband's 50th, family joining in from all over on Zoom. Good fun and the festival theme had everyone giggling about our own muddy festival d[...](#)ays. I did email when we got stuck on a code and Dave got back to me really quickly and pointed us in the right direction, very patient. My one gripe is the clicking, you spend a lot of time going back and forward between pages and it'd be much easier with one central page to jump from. We finished it eventually, took the whole afternoon."

Margaret Easton

From our archive

★★★★★"Great mystery, properly creepy. We did keep having to click back to recheck clues which was a bit of a faff. Dave answered our email in no time when we got stuc[...](#)k though, really helpful."

The vanishing four reels you in from the off[...](#) and we were all squinting at our screens trying to spot what we'd overlooked. Nice that there's no rush, we needed that because we kept wandering off topic. And the price, once carved up between the lot of us, came to next to nothing each. We did sneak a look at the hints for the closing stretch but it was a smashing way to spend a couple of hours, cheers for making these."

Daniel Tran

From our archive

★★★★★"We dont normally go for these but my brother twisted our arms so the family could catch up over a screen, and I'm chuffed he did. Everyone joined from their own[...](#) homes on Zoom, one of us driving the screen while the rest yelled out ideas. The festival theme was a riot, all that rooting around for your lost wellies and wristband. My only note is you do flick between a fair few pages to line up your clues. Roughly two and a half hours in we cracked it, dead pleased with ourselves."

Tariq Mahmood

Saskia Ellison

★★★★★"What a fun way to spend an evening. Four of us all in different flats jumped on Zoom and worked through the festival mystery together, trying to find the lost p[...](#)hone and get back into the tent before the set started. Albert Sangster

From our archive

★★★★★"We went for the Advanced rating wanting a real head-scratcher, and working out what the CEO was quietly siphoning off gave us exactly that. The puzzle built rou[...](#)nd his shredded memos took us an age to piece back together, and we caved and checked the clues page once when a keypad on the filing cabinet wouldn't budge. All in we spent close to a couple of hours rooting through his office, and the time flew. Smashing way to spend a wet February evening."

Szymon Mazur

From our archive

★★★★★"Five of us all dialled in on Teams from different houses for this. The no power, no gravity setup is a brilliant idea and we had a laugh with it, only gripe is [...](#)the answer box dont like it if you get the spacing wrong on the codes."

★★★★★"Rounded up the family over Meet for my sister's fortieth, six of us split between Ljubljana and here, all trying to work out how to abandon this deserted liner.[...](#) Nothing counting down which was a blessing as half of us aren't quick off the mark of an evening. We did have to peek at the clue page twice on the boiler room safe. Dave talked me through the whole screen sharing palaver beforehand without once making me feel daft. One thing, a lock near the purser's office felt a wee bit unfair. Made it to the lifeboats in the end though, smashing night."

Dragan Petrović

From our archive

★★★★★"Booked this for a games night with a few of us scattered about and it went down really well. It's marked as Advanced and that's about right, a couple of the cam[...](#)psite puzzles had us scratching our heads for ages. Really liked that there's no timer breathing down your neck, we took our time and even paused to make a brew. For under a tenner for the whole group it's cracking value, though I'll admit one of the riddles felt a touch unfair and we nearly gave up on it. Got there though and the morning-after-the-night-before story is a laugh."

Darren Whitfield

From our archive

★★★★★"Picked this for a quiet Sunday and ended up completely absorbed. No timer is the way to do these I reckon, we wandered off for a cuppa halfway through and came [...](#)back to it with fresh eyes, which is exactly when the missing persons puzzle finally clicked. Genuinely eerie story and brilliant value for the lot of us. We're already deciding which room to do next, that's how much we enjoyed it."

Dominic Frawley

Patrycja Krawczyk

Nicola Aldridge

From our archive

★★★★★"Roped the whole family onto one Meet call after the Christmas lull, six of us trying to work our way off this deserted liner and back to shore. Loved piecing to[...](#)gether the captain's logbook to get into the wheelhouse, that bit had us all leaning in. For what it cost it was an absolute steal, worked out at a bit over a quid each once we'd split it. We're already arguing over who picks the next one, so that tells you plenty."

Hari Venkatesan

Andrei Ionescu

★★★★★"Ran this for the work do this year now half the team are dotted round the country and nobody fancied another grim online quiz. The bit where you come to on the [...](#)morning after the party and realise the email you fired off to the boss could end your career had people pointing fingers and crying laughing. It took us a smidge over two hours, everybody shouting suggestions at once and nobody listening. When one answer wouldn't go in, the clues page nudged us back on track. Booking January's one already, properly good fun."

Blessing Chikondi

The setup, waking the morning after the do needing to wipe an email you fired at the boss before he reads it, had us howling before a single puzzle. The middle caught us out and we were stuck ages trying to get inside his office. I've docked a star because one riddle felt more guess than logic. Came in at well under a fiver each though, and I'd sign us up for another tomorrow."

Maddison Holroyd

Sharon Plummer

★★★★"Roped the book group into this one for our autumn get-together, everyone joining from their own front rooms. Being stranded in the playhouse after curtain-down [...](#)was a cracking idea and rooting through the dressing rooms tickled us. We leant on the clue page twice when the safe combination by the box office had us beat, and the people running it sorted our query without any drama. Fun, though one or two answers only made sense once we'd read the explanation."

Norma Beckett

From our archive

★★★★★"Set this going for our team's December social and it went down a storm. There's a bit of hopping between screens to chase clues, nothing dreadful. Wiping that e[...](#)mail off the boss's machine before he reads it kept everyone hooked. Dave came back fast when we couldn't agree on an answer."

Aditi Banerjee

From our archive

★★★★"Decent puzzler with a nicely creepy missing-persons angle, and being able to take your time without a timer suited us. Bit on the pricier side compared to some [...](#)online games we've tried but we still had a good evening of it."

Mei Lin

From our archive

★★★★★"Sat down with my husband and the two teenagers for this and it definately tested us. Great value for the four of us and the broken space station theme really pu[...](#)lled the kids in. We had to lean on the hints page a good few times on the trickier codes, no shame in that, and we did escape right at the very end with the oxygen basically gone. Brilliant family night, we were all buzzing afterwards."

Yvonne Clarke

From our archive

★★★★★"We're a clan that's scattered all over now, so corralling everyone onto a Sunday afternoon call to play armchair detective was a treat. The four people who vani[...](#)shed kept my dad theorising right to the close, he announced he'd solved it about five times and was off the mark every single time. Worked out daft cheap once you split it across all of us as well. We did drop an email when we couldnt make sense of what one clue was after, and Dave talked us through it without any bother. Lovely evening, thank you."

Joyce Asante

From our archive

★★★★★"good fun this. We saved it for a lazy Sunday and liked that nothing's racing you along, so we could potter and brew up partway through. Being shut in the playho[...](#)use made a lovely change of scene. The thing that nettled me was forever tapping between pages to move round, a proper menu would help. Dave pinged back fast when one bit had us beat though, real help, so a fine evening all told."

Junaid Tariq

★★★★"Roped in three of us on a call, all sat at our own kitchen tables miles apart, and we made an evening of it. The hook of working out what became of those four p[...](#)eople had a genuinely sinister edge, which I wasn't expecting from an online thing. It's billed as intermediate and I'd say that's fair, though a few of the puzzles left us bickering for ages and there was one where the leap from clue to answer felt thin even after the penny dropped. We got through it in the end, just slower than any of us would admit to."

Marcus Campbell

From our archive

★★★★★"Waking up as the last lot aboard a deserted liner is a cracking hook. We had a laugh poking round the engine room, though we dont mind that the clue page bailed[...](#) us out on the casino safe. Booking another the second we logged off."

★★★★"Decent fun, though we ended up calling on the hints more than i'd have liked. Dave got back to my message in no time when i had a question."

Harpreet Gill

From our archive

★★★★★"We pulled the old reunion lot together for this one and the idea of being shut inside the school after everyone had gone home was just brilliant for our group. [...](#)Plenty of ribbing about who failed which exam while we puzzled out the padlock on the trophy cabinet near the main hall. If you do get properly stuck there is a clues page sitting there, and just knowing it was on hand put us at ease, though we never needed it. Going back to an earlier classroom means a bit of paging about, which took a moment to suss out. The lot of us are already planning the next one."

Marsha Pinnock

From our archive

★★★★★"Rounded up the teaching lot one evening and it made a proper change from marking. What I liked best was that nothing was timing us, so we ambled through with a [...](#)glass of wine and plenty of nattering. Being the gentlest room it was never going to floor us, but the school break-out theme had real charm and prising open the headmaster's desk drawer took us somewhere near eighty minutes by the finish. Just the tonic after a brutal half term."

Sandra Whyte

From our archive

★★★★★"This is billed as their hardest and it absolutely is, genuinely the Genius level was no joke for us. What I really liked was being able to take our time, we pau[...](#)sed for a brew partway and came at the oxygen puzzle with fresher heads. Being marooned in the playhouse once the curtain drops is a clever setup[...](#), and the running joke about the critics savaging the show had us grinning. Lovely that nothing[...](#) was ticking away in the background, so mum could sit and chew over the boss's dodgy paperwork at her own pace without anyone rushing her. We did ask for a nudge when his locked laptop had us all scratching our heads, but we were giggling the whole way through. Cleverly put together."

The whole ShareBnb idea of being stuck in this rental with a host who clearly [...](#)didn't trust anyone was a good laugh, and getting through the different rooms of the house to find a way out kept the four of us going for ages. ★★★★"Did this on a Saturday afternoon with my sister and her boyfriend, all on a Meet call from three different houses. The whole waking-up-in-a-muddy-campsite-with-[...](#)no-memory thing is a fun premise and we were properly invested in tracking down the missing wellies and wristband. Only real moan is the navigation, you end up clicking back and forth between pages so much that we lost track of which clue went where a couple of times. We did lean on the clues page a coupl[...](#)e of times, the chemistry-store padlock especially had us going round in circles, and getting from the locked classroom to out the front doors took us about an hour and a half. ★★★★★"We did the Cabin Fever escape room last night with two other households. We bought one pass and used screen share on Messenger so that everyone could see the cl[...](#)ues and communicate with each other. The puzzles were challenging but doable and there was something for everyone in our group. This was more like a live escape room experience where you had to go backwards and forwards to fit the pieces of the puzzle together in order to open other areas. The only thing that would have improved this even more would be some kind of navigation page so that you could easily click on the location you wanted to go to, especially towards the end when you found a clue that linked to one from several before. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to trying out a few of the others. Thank you for creating these experiences."

★★★★★"Would just like to say ‘EscapeFest’ made my twins 21st birthday one to remember. Although we spent a lovely day as a family, by mid afternoon they were a bit sa[...](#)d and just wanted to be with friends. EscapeFest was planned as a surprise for the evening and it definitely brightened up/made their day. Not only did they get to meet with friends from across the UK and North America, but working together as a team added a whole new dimension to a mere chat room meet up. The puzzles were challenging, needing combined brain power. The size of the group (18 using/sharing 12 devices) meant that sometimes players got lost or ended up somewhere different – which all added to the experience. Thank you for the ideal solution and for putting smiles on a lot of faces."

★★★★"I have just played Cabin Fever by myself and it took me a good few hours over a couple of days.. I liked the fact that there was no time limit. Some of the puzz[...](#)les were easy and some were quite tricky. You do need to be careful with capitalisation of your answer. It needs to be exact i.e. all capitals, all lower case, or in some cases a capital followed by lower case. It would be good if it was consistent throughout. Also I think I answered the clues in the 'wrong' order and had to go back through puzzles I had already completed which was a bit annoying but luckily I had the answers written down. I would have preferred that you didn't get a clue if you put in the wrong answer as happened in one case. However I might still not have escaped in that case. All in all it was well done and I enjoyed it. Good value. Thank you."

★★★★★"We are big escape room fans and have been really missing visiting them during lockdown. Some friends bought us the Night at the Theatre online room a few weeks [...](#)ago and we all had a brilliant evening together over Zoom working out the various puzzles. We all enjoyed it so much that we decided to have a go at Escape Fest this evening. Again, we all very much enjoyed the game, this one was really quite tricky and took us most of the evening but we got there in the end! The price is very reasonable at £8 per room and although the Google form format is very simple it does work well. We appreciate that Dave has only created these online rooms as a bit of a hobby but some of the puzzles are fiendish in their complexity! Keep up the good work Dave, we are going for our Genius hats next with Space Race!"

★★★★★"We did the escape room 'A Night At the Theatre'. It's brilliant. Don't be misled into thinking this is going to be quick and easy. When you first start the esca[...](#)pe room, it looks deceptively simple. The familiar web form interface gave us an unfounded sense of overconfidence, but this escape room provided enough head-scratching to keep us occupied for a good hour and a half. Thankfully, there's a well-constructed 'hints and tips' page, which we referred to a couple of times ju The puzzles are well devised, and there are a variety of skills required to figure out the codes needed. We found it helpful to open a Word document so we could copy and paste evidence we found as we moved around. It made for easier reference later in the game, and also provided a place to jot down possible clues and codes. Thanks so much for a great experience. We can't wait to try another!"
